Wall murals and signs are the fastest way to turn a blank wall into a customer magnet in The Grapevine, CA. Whether you run a restaurant off the I-5 corridor or manage a commercial property near Lebec, the right mural or sign makes people stop, look, and walk through your door. TM Signs and Graphics designs and installs wall murals and custom signage built to handle the Grapevine’s extreme summer heat and high desert winds.
TM Signs and Graphics has been designing and installing commercial signage across Kern County for years. We’ve completed hundreds of sign and mural projects for businesses of all sizes, from single-location shops to multi-site operations. When you work with us, you get a dedicated designer, a local project manager, and an install crew that knows The Grapevine’s building surfaces and weather conditions firsthand.
We handle everything in-house. Design, printing, fabrication, and installation all happen under one roof. That means fewer delays, tighter quality control, and one point of contact from start to finish. If you also need 3D sign lettering for your Grapevine location, we can bundle that into the same project for a cohesive look.
We also stay current on local sign codes and permitting requirements in unincorporated Kern County, which covers much of The Grapevine area. That saves you headaches and keeps your project on schedule. Our work on 3D wall murals that add dimension to commercial spaces shows what’s possible when design and craftsmanship come together.
Painted murals have a handmade feel that works well for restaurants, breweries, and creative spaces. But they take longer to complete, cost more in labor, and are harder to update when your branding changes. In The Grapevine’s climate, where summer temperatures regularly push past 100°F, painted murals can also crack and fade faster without frequent touch-ups.
Vinyl wall murals give you photographic detail, exact color matching, and faster turnaround. They’re easier to replace if you rebrand or want a seasonal refresh. For most commercial applications in The Grapevine, vinyl murals with UV-protective laminate are the smarter long-term investment.
TM Signs and Graphics produces both options, but we’ll always give you an honest recommendation based on your wall surface, location, and budget. Most of our Grapevine area clients choose vinyl for exteriors and reserve painted elements for interior feature walls.
TM Signs and Graphics serves business owners throughout The Grapevine corridor, including Lebec, Frazier Park, Gorman, and the communities along the I-5 pass between the San Joaquin Valley and Los Angeles County. This stretch of highway sees massive traffic volume year-round, which means a bold wall mural or building sign on a Grapevine-area property gets thousands of daily impressions from drivers, truckers, and travelers.
We also work with clients in nearby cities across Kern County. If you operate locations in multiple towns, we can keep your branding consistent. Our aluminum and metal sign services in The Grapevine complement wall murals perfectly for businesses that need durable exterior identification paired with interior branding.
A professionally installed vinyl wall mural with UV-protective laminate typically lasts 5 to 7 years in The Grapevine, even with the intense summer heat. South-facing walls get the most sun exposure, so we use premium laminates on those surfaces. Interior murals last even longer because they’re protected from weather. We also apply surface prep treatments that help the mural bond stay strong through temperature swings.
Most of The Grapevine falls under unincorporated Kern County jurisdiction, which has specific sign ordinances covering size, placement, and illumination. A permit is typically required for exterior commercial signs and large-scale murals. TM Signs and Graphics handles the permit research and application process so you don’t have to navigate county offices yourself.
Cast vinyl with a UV-resistant overlaminate is the top choice for outdoor wall murals in 2026. It conforms to textured surfaces like stucco and brick better than calendered vinyl. It also resists shrinking and cracking in high heat. TM Signs and Graphics uses commercial-grade cast vinyl on all exterior mural projects in The Grapevine.
Yes. Stucco and brick are two of the most common wall surfaces in The Grapevine’s commercial buildings. We prep the surface by cleaning, priming, and sometimes applying a smooth base layer before the mural goes on. This extra step prevents bubbling and peeling and gives you a clean finished look.
Most wall mural projects take 2 to 4 weeks from the initial consultation to final installation. Simple interior accent murals can be turned around faster. Larger exterior projects with permit requirements may take a bit longer. We give you a clear timeline at the start of every project so there are no surprises.
TM Signs and Graphics builds wall murals and signs that make The Grapevine businesses impossible to miss. Every project is designed, printed, and installed by our local team with materials built for Kern County conditions. We are booking new Grapevine projects now, and our schedule fills up fast heading into 2026. Submit your project details on our contact page or call us at 661-379-6545. We respond the same day.

TM Signs really came through for us on our exhibition Overtime. Mike and the installation team helped us get a pretty big print and install job done on a tight timeline, and the truth is, the wall we were dealing with wasn’t exactly trying to make anybody’s life easy. Uneven surfaces, weird hanging issues, all the fun stuff. But they figured it out, got everything printed in time, showed up and handled the install with care. This was our first time doing this kind of event so there were a lot of moving pieces and having a team that could stay calm and problem solve made a big difference. The work looked clean, the panels held up and the show turned out better because of them. I’d definitely work with Mike and his team over at TM Signs again.

TM Signs and Graphics in Bakersfield exceeded my expectations! I'm usually hesitant about ordering any prints for a business, due to the many variables that can affect its quality and especially color. As a designer, I appreciate their process and the top-notch quality of their deliverables. After trying many local print shops in Bakersfield, I can CONFIDENTLY say, TM Signs and Graphics is the friendliest and best printers town! They use vector files (.ai, .svg) for printing, setting them apart from other budget options nearby. TM Signs and Graphics is the way to go, recommend for superior results!
