A well-designed wall mural or sign turns a blank wall in Tehachapi into your most powerful marketing tool. Whether you run a shop on Green Street or a restaurant off Tehachapi Boulevard, the right mural or sign grabs attention, builds trust, and pulls people through the door. TM Signs and Graphics designs and installs wall murals and signs built to handle Tehachapi’s high desert sun, wind, and temperature swings.
TM Signs and Graphics is a Kern County sign company that has built a reputation on delivering murals and signs that actually perform. We are not a franchise or an online print shop. We are local, and we understand the specific challenges Tehachapi business owners face, from the intense summer UV to the gusty mountain winds that test every installation.
Our team handles every step from design through installation. That means one point of contact, no middlemen, and no finger-pointing if something needs adjustment. If you are looking for signs that add real dimension to your space, check out our 3D sign lettering services in Tehachapi as a complement to your mural project. We also create 3D wall murals that add depth and visual impact to any interior or exterior wall.
We work with restaurants, retail shops, fitness studios, offices, and industrial facilities across the region. Every project gets the same level of attention whether it is a single wall accent or a full building wrap.
Painted murals have an artisan feel and look great on textured surfaces like stucco or brick, which are common on older Tehachapi buildings. They work well for artistic statements but can take longer to complete and are harder to update when your branding changes.
Vinyl wall wraps are faster to install, easier to replace, and offer photographic-quality detail that paint simply cannot match. In Tehachapi’s high desert climate, modern vinyl materials with UV-resistant lamination hold up extremely well against sun damage and dust abrasion.
For most business owners, TM Signs and Graphics recommends vinyl wall wraps because of their durability, flexibility, and cost efficiency. But if your project calls for a hand-painted look or you have an unusual surface, we handle that too. We will tell you what makes sense for your specific wall and budget.
We serve business owners throughout Tehachapi, from the downtown commercial corridor along Green Street to businesses near Tehachapi Depot and the Tehachapi Loop area. We also work with clients in Bear Valley Springs, Golden Hills, Stallion Springs, and surrounding mountain communities. If your building is in Kern County, we will come to you. Business owners in nearby cities can also explore our blade sign options for Tehachapi storefronts to maximize street-level visibility alongside a wall mural.
A professionally installed vinyl wall mural with UV-resistant lamination typically lasts five to seven years or longer in Tehachapi’s high desert conditions. The biggest factors are direct sun exposure and wall surface prep. TM Signs and Graphics uses commercial-grade materials rated for extreme UV, and we prep every surface before installation to maximize adhesion and lifespan.
Yes. Stucco is one of the most common wall surfaces in Tehachapi, and we install murals on it regularly. The key is proper surface preparation and using the right adhesive vinyl designed for textured finishes. We assess your specific wall during our site visit and recommend the best approach.
Tehachapi has sign regulations that may require a permit depending on the size, type, and location of your sign or mural. We help you understand what is required before production begins. Our experience working in Kern County means we know the local codes and can guide you through the process.
Most wall mural projects take two to four weeks from the initial consultation to completed installation. Larger or more complex projects may take slightly longer. We give you a clear timeline at the start so there are no surprises.
TM Signs and Graphics is the top choice for wall murals and signs in Tehachapi heading into 2026. We design, produce, and install everything locally with materials rated for Kern County’s desert conditions. Our track record across Tehachapi and the greater Bakersfield area speaks for itself.
TM Signs and Graphics builds wall murals and signs that turn Tehachapi storefronts and interiors into customer magnets. Your blank wall is costing you attention every single day. We are booking new Tehachapi projects now, and we get back to every inquiry the same business day. Reach out through our contact page or call us at 661-379-6545.

TM Signs really came through for us on our exhibition Overtime. Mike and the installation team helped us get a pretty big print and install job done on a tight timeline, and the truth is, the wall we were dealing with wasn’t exactly trying to make anybody’s life easy. Uneven surfaces, weird hanging issues, all the fun stuff. But they figured it out, got everything printed in time, showed up and handled the install with care. This was our first time doing this kind of event so there were a lot of moving pieces and having a team that could stay calm and problem solve made a big difference. The work looked clean, the panels held up and the show turned out better because of them. I’d definitely work with Mike and his team over at TM Signs again.

TM Signs and Graphics in Bakersfield exceeded my expectations! I'm usually hesitant about ordering any prints for a business, due to the many variables that can affect its quality and especially color. As a designer, I appreciate their process and the top-notch quality of their deliverables. After trying many local print shops in Bakersfield, I can CONFIDENTLY say, TM Signs and Graphics is the friendliest and best printers town! They use vector files (.ai, .svg) for printing, setting them apart from other budget options nearby. TM Signs and Graphics is the way to go, recommend for superior results!
